Reason why there is no DLC/Cheats...

Why would it be fake? He posted the time he sent me this message. RM is not a bot. I have no idea why you guys are even mad! They never said there would be dlc anyways or cheats! If you guys are so mad go take the game back to gamestop to get your money back or half of it and spend it on ghostbusters.

But i will be da.mned before i believe that a CM will respond toe very single private mesage they get personally. I garentee you 99% of all messages they send out are electronically generated and puts the persons name in it.

Radical, you are completely blowing off a large number of people who spent a great deal of money on your product and who, through word of mouth, did a lot of advertising on your behalf. This is a lousy business practice and I sincerely hope this product bombs as a result of your refusal to, at a bare minimum, address your large fanbase as adults. If you have no intentions of pursuing DLC, fine, I think that's pathetic, but fine. At the very least however you should have the common decency to talk directly to the people who are upset by this and try to explain why you're not releasing downloadable content.

And most importantly, why is it that the only real response we're getting to all our concerns is in a private message sent to one of the board members? Can you really not take half an hour out of your day to come on here yourself and talk directly to the people as whole? Or, even worse, are you avoiding posting because you don't have it in you as a fully grown adult with a stable career to talk to people who are annoyed at your actions?

Regardless, this is all incredibly insulting. I had been looking forward to Prototype for a long while and I defended it to many people and touted it as being the next great sandbox game. Needless to say, while I do enjoy the game, I'm severely let down and, if nothing changes, I have no intention of ever purchasing another Radical game. Really, I should've spent this money on Red Faction. I'm kicking myself right now. You know, they just announced changes their making to their multiplayer game because FANS asked them to? Just saying, that's how you treat people who spent $60 to help pay YOUR bills.

EDIT: Oh yeah, and what the f-ck kind of pitty prize is f-cking artwork and videos? Oh goody, I get to see lame things that didn't make the cut for the final version of a half finished game. Sure am glad I've stayed so loyal to this company.

Yeah some of our more passionate fans would love DLC and more cheats [besides the New Game + , Bodysurf code] but the reality is that we're simply not in a position to keep adding to Prototype. We worked very hard to give everything in one complete package, rather than sell 80% of the game and the re-sell another 20% via DLC. Every developer does things slightly differently and we're already gearing up for the next big projects which I think our fans will go crazy over. People are already using their creativity to find new moves and combos that we never even thought of, such as the air body surf move. Who knows what else is yet to be invented by our more creative fanbase.
